Coming out later this year on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC is the long anticipated “Star Wars: Battlefront” video game.  This trailer premiered today at the Star Wars Celebration Convention in Anaheim, California.

This game visits such locations as Tatooine, Endor, Hoth, and a new planet named Sullust.  You have the choice of taking on many roles, such as that of Darth Vader and Boba Fett.  You can choose to be the hero or the villain. You get to pilot X-Wings, TIE Fighters, or even finally take the helm of the Millennium Falcon.

The game takes place after the events in “Return of the Jedi” but before “The Force Awakens.”  And this game will be considered cannon. 

The footage in the trailer looks incredible and if the actual gameplay looks anything like that, then count me on board.  This really does look fantastic.

It is nice to finally be able to get excited about “Star Wars” once again.  The game hits November 17, 2015.   Visit the official site HERE.
