Today came the second season trailer for “Star Wars Rebels.”  I wasn’t sure if I was going to watch the first season, even though I really enjoyed its predecessor “The Clone Wars” (which happened to be light years better than the live-action prequels).  But I decided to give it a fair shake.  And I loved it right out of the gate.  The stories are extremely well done and they came up with some really compelling characters.

Set fourteen years after “Revenge of the Sith” and five years before “A New Hope,” the show tracks the exploits of a group of rebels who do their best to make life hard on the Evil Galactic Empire.  Within this group is a former Jedi and his new young Apprentice.

And if this trailer is any indication, the second season may very well be even better than the first.  We see some familiar faces from “The Clone Wars” series.  And we finally get Darth Vader.  Can’t wait!
