The “Justice League” Trailer Has Arrived! With Screenshots!

The New “Batman v Superman” Trailer has Arrived! With Screenshots!

Batman v Superman Main PhotoOn Tonight’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Ben Affleck helped to introduce the new trailer for next years fleck (uh, I mean flick) “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”  This comes on the heels of Jimmy Kimmel’s last superhero trailer reveal with “Captain America: Civil War.”

Marvel Changes Characters! DC To Follow? A Justice League Overhaul!

Captain America Female ThroA female Thor? The Falcon as Captain America? Change is on the horizons, folks! And the people over at Marvel are leading the way.

Apparently a woman from Thor’s past picks up the mantle (and the hammer) while Steve Rogers’ friend, Sam Wilson (aka The Falcon), dons the Cap outfit and adds the indestructible shield to his aerial abilities.

Did You Know That Ben Affleck Played Superman?

ben-affleck-supermanI have to admit that I forgot about this little known film called “Hollywoodland” where the soon-to-be Batman once played the role of Superman.  Okay, to be more accurate, he actually played the role of George Reeves who played Superman.  The film was about a private investigator looking into the supposed suicide of George Reeves who many believed to have been murdered.

Superman Moots the Movie “Gravity”

I realize this has been around for a while, but I still get a big kick out of it.  So for those that haven’t seen this, you’re going to love it.  And if you don’t, then I beg you to go straight to Amazon and add a sense of humor to your wish list.  I know they can be expensive but maybe someone nice will see it on there and purchase it for you.  Then come back here and watch it again.

Bryan Cranston (of “Breaking Bad” fame) was on Howard Stern’s radio program this morning to promote his new Broadway Play which begins this week (he plays former President Lyndon B. Johnson in “All the Way.”).  Of course the subjects of “Breaking Bad” and the casting rumor of him playing Lex Luthor in the new “Superman” movie came up.  And this being Stern, the topics of him getting crabs, having threesomes, and wishing death on an ex-psycho girlfriend worked its way into the conversation as well.

It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! No, it’s the Adventures of Superman Script!

Adventures of Superman TitleOn September 19th, 1952 a little show premiered known by the name of “The Adventures of Superman.”  Who’s this Superman character you ask?  He’s just some guy flying around in his underwear fighting for truth, justice and the American way (because in the 50’s, that was the only way).  Lucky for us viewers, when the show eventually ended, we had “Captain Nice” to pick up the superhero mantle in the late 60’s.  (Check out the video below.  It’s worth the viewing!)
