“Star Trek: Discovery” Paley Center Exhibit Photos

I’ve been a Star Trek fan since the day I was born.  Or so it would seem to me.  Because I don’t ever remember when I didn’t watch Star Trek in one form or another.   It started with the original series and worked its way from there.  I wasn’t born when the original series aired, but thanks to syndication, I was quickly able to catch up.  Well, quickly in terms of only the one episode a day that aired, not like the binge-watching apps we have today.

A Live-Action “Futurama” Trailer, Poster, and Screenshots

Live-Action Futurama Pic 33I am a fan of “Futurama.”  And I do miss the show.  I still hold out hope that it will one day return again.

The last time we saw Fry, Leela, Bender and the rest of the gang of Planet Express was on a very well done crossover with the “Simpsons” a while back.  And I would love to see another one of those again, but alas, it was probably just a one-off.

“The Walking Dead” Season 7 Trailer

The Walking DeadThanks to the San Diego Comic-Con we have a new trailer for season 7 of “The Walking Dead.”

I, like many others, was not happy about that BS cliffhanger they gave us at the end of season 6.  Not that I have a problem with cliffhangers, but they teased that scene/upcoming death all season and choose not to pay it off.  It was a very poor choice and turned a lot of fans off.

“Star Wars Rebels” Season Three Trailer

Star Wars Rebels LogoA new trailer for the third season of “Star Wars Rebels” has been released.

I have found this show to be exceptionally enjoyable.  Even though I really liked “The Clone Wars” I didn’t expect a lot from “Rebels” when it was first announced.  But I was hooked from the very first episode and haven’t stopped watching since.

The Unaired “Cheers” Episode You Probably Haven’t Seen (Video)

Cheers Cast Photo with TitleFollowing up on my previous post from the other day concerning the sitcom “Cheers,” here’s a couple of interesting nuggets you may not have known.

Back during the first season, the show produced a twelve minuted episode entitled “Uncle Sam Malone” for the U.S. treasury in order to sell U.S. savings bonds.  It never aired on television or appeared on the 1st season DVD set.  It was only ever played at savings bonds drives.  But you can now view the episode below.

Cheers –The Alternate Ending to the Sam/Diane Romance (Video)

Cheers Title Card“Cheers”, which ran on NBC from 1982-1993, is considered to be one of the best sitcoms in television history.  The show centers around ex-baseball player and recovering alcoholic Sam Malone (Ted Danson) who runs a Boston Sports bar.  The first five seasons focused on his on-again, off-again romance with intellectual snob Diane Chambers (Shelley Long), a waitress at the bar.  The remaining six seasons focused upon Sam’s friendship with new bar manager Rebecca Howe (Kirstie Alley) and gave the other wacky characters that populated the bar more to do.
