“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” TV Spot – Joe-Made

So I’ve had some fun in the past coming up with Alternate Versions of “Star Wars” Trailers and TV Spots.

I’ve never been a fan of the advertising campaigns for the newer films.  They just never seemed too… “Star Wars-y”.  I’m a bit old school, I guess.  I like to see my trailers (and TV Spots) with the “Star Wars” music blaring, exploding action, fan favorites front and center.  These new spots just don’t do it for me.  They seem too passive. So I’ve tried to course correct it.

“Rogue One” Trailer – Original Trilogy Cut

Rogue One Star Wars Story TitleEver since I was a kid I was always fascinated by movie trailers.  I loved how they were a sneak peek into a much bigger world.  And when a trailer is put together right, it really gets that movie excitement flaring.  Unfortunately, sometimes they get it wrong and it can make a movie look laughably bad.  Or just blah.

The “Wonder Woman” Trailer Debuts!

Wonder Woman Title CardAnother goodie has been bestowed upon us from this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con.  The first trailer for director Patty Jenkin’s “Wonder Woman” has been released.  And it’s no disappointment.

Gal Gadot returns as the titular character in her first solo big screen debut.  As everyone is aware by now, we got our first taste of her in this year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”  Most people credited her with being the best part of that film.  If anything, it was certainly exciting to see Wonder Woman on the movie screen for the first time.

A Live-Action “Futurama” Trailer, Poster, and Screenshots

Live-Action Futurama Pic 33I am a fan of “Futurama.”  And I do miss the show.  I still hold out hope that it will one day return again.

The last time we saw Fry, Leela, Bender and the rest of the gang of Planet Express was on a very well done crossover with the “Simpsons” a while back.  And I would love to see another one of those again, but alas, it was probably just a one-off.

Set a decade after “Days of Future Past” this new entry has our favorite mutants take on the god-like mutant Apocalypse whose goal is to destroy mankind.  Now I’m always wondering, why do these superpower beings always want to destroy the world?  When I hear that, this clip always comes to mind.
