Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection – Why Did It Sell Out? And Other Answers

If you’re a Ghostbusters fan, then the recently released Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection Box Set was the collection you wanted to own.  Released February 1st, it included Blu-rays and 4k disks for Ghostbusters I, II, Afterlife, along with digital codes for all three films, additionally including the 2016 reboot Answer the Call.  Plus a mini reproduction of the fantastic 1980’s book “Making Ghostbusters.”

FANTASTIC NEW SPIDER-MAN BOOK FROM TASCHEN

A fantastic new Spider-man book has just hit the market.  It comes from TASCHEN, a company that I have bought many wonderful books from.  They are known for marketing these HUGE OVERSIZED editions.  I love these things.  It’s just that I don’t have anywhere to put them any longer.  They don’t exactly fit on a bookshelf.  (They do market many normal-sized books as well.)

Kennedy in Dallas, TX.  It’s also the title of the book that Stephen King wrote about a man by the name of Jake Epping who goes back in time to stop said assassination.

Happy “Back to the Future” Day!!! Step Inside For Some Goodies!

Back to the Future DayAs every single geek on the globe knows, it’s “Back to the Future” Day today!  In “Back to the Future Part II” Doc, Marty, and Jennifer arrive in the future on October 21, 2015 at 4:29pm.  Since they came from 1985, that’s a full thirty years ahead for them.  And for the rest of us, well, it’s our present.  And we had to get here the slow way.  Boy, I felt every day of that!

“Fifty Shades of Grey” New Movie Trailer

Fifty Shades of Grey Title CardWhat can I say about “Fifty Shades of Grey” that you don’t already know if you’re reading this?  Well, maybe you can tell me something about it because I have no idea what it’s about.  Never read the book.  All I get from the trailer is Man, Woman, Sex, something, something, Sex.  In other words, a very good date movie.

Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Thomas F. Wilson. It was released theatrically July 3, 1985.

It was probably one of the most anticipated movies in film history. It was the concluding chapter in the story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia (or so we thought at the time). And it definitely had a lot of threads to tie up from its previous chapter.
