As shooting is underway on next years rebooted Spider-Man film entitled “Spider-Man: Homecoming” on-set photos are sure to pop up. And that’s what we have here.
The new Spider-Man, Tom Holland, made his web-slinging debut in this years “Captain America: Civil War.” Spider-Man’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was definitely the highlight of that film. Up until this point, the character always existed in his own little on-screen cinematic bubble.

“Spider-Man 4” Storyboards from Sam Raimi’s Defunct Sequel
Before Sony rebooted “Spider-Man” back in 2012 Sam Raimi was in the process of making another sequel with Tobey Maguire and company. But for various reasons, Raimi and Sony parted ways on the project and Sony decided to reboot the property with Marc Webb as director and Andrew Garfield starring in the titular role. I found that reboot to be much less enjoyable than the Raimi versions. And the sequel to the reboot, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” was just “Batman and Robin” bad and almost a franchise killer.

The Unaired “Cheers” Episode You Probably Haven’t Seen (Video)
Following up on my previous post from the other day concerning the sitcom “Cheers,” here’s a couple of interesting nuggets you may not have known.
Back during the first season, the show produced a twelve minuted episode entitled “Uncle Sam Malone” for the U.S. treasury in order to sell U.S. savings bonds. It never aired on television or appeared on the 1st season DVD set. It was only ever played at savings bonds drives. But you can now view the episode below.

Cheers –The Alternate Ending to the Sam/Diane Romance (Video)
“Cheers”, which ran on NBC from 1982-1993, is considered to be one of the best sitcoms in television history. The show centers around ex-baseball player and recovering alcoholic Sam Malone (Ted Danson) who runs a Boston Sports bar. The first five seasons focused on his on-again, off-again romance with intellectual snob Diane Chambers (Shelley Long), a waitress at the bar. The remaining six seasons focused upon Sam’s friendship with new bar manager Rebecca Howe (Kirstie Alley) and gave the other wacky characters that populated the bar more to do.

Disney/Lucasfilm have released the first trailer for the first “Star Wars” stand-alone film entitled “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” What’s it about you ask? It was all in the opening crawl of “Star Wars: A New Hope.”
