Here’s the Synopsis:

R.I.P. Stern Show’s ‘Eric the Actor’

Eric the Actor and Howard SternI’ve been listening to Howard Stern since 1997. Probably one of the only reasons I have Sirius Radio is so I can occasionally tune him in. Though I don’t consider myself a super fan, I have found myself greatly entertained by him over the years. But this article isn’t about Howard Stern. It’s about one of the members of his Wack Pack (essentially a group of misfits that have become recurring guests on his show over the years).

The Star Wars/Batman v Superman Mashup Wars

Batman Superman Star Wars LogoMashups are fun. There’s nothing more entertaining than taking two completely unrelated things and combining them into something new. And when two filmmakers who are in control of behemoth franchises get involved, well then Merry Christmas to us all.

Time Heist – Doctor Who Extra: Series 1 Episode 5

Doctor Who Extra Title Card“Time Heist” is Peter Capaldi’s fifth episode in as the new Doctor. His run of episodes is definitely getting better, but I still feel as if something is missing from this season. It just doesn’t seem as much fun as the previous seasons. And I don’t know why.   As I mentioned previously, maybe it’s just time to change up companions. Maybe mix up the chemistry a bit with some new blood.

Batmobile in Action – New Video Footage & Pics from “Batman v Superman”

Batman batmobileI present to you some more video and various street shots of the new Batmobile from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

You know, no matter how many times I say that title, I hate it more and more each time.  It’s just not growing on me.  Not the “Batman v Superman” part.  Though I really hate the ‘v.’  Just say ‘vs.”  It’s the “Dawn of Justice” part that grates on me.  It just sounds so passive aggressive.  And I hate passive aggressive.

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” New Official Trailer & Movie Stills

Hunger Games Movie Still 23Here is the new official trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.”  As you probably know by now, it’s Hollywood’s new thing to split the last book in a series into two movies so they can double dip into that big golden money pot.  Or in the Hobbit’s case, make three movies from just one book, because as you know, that 20 -30 minute dinner scene in the first film was extremely important to the narrative as a whole.  Hmmmm!  I fell asleep in that film.

Mastering the Force with the “Return of the Jedi” 1983 Press Kit

star_wars_episode_vi___return_of_the_jedi_by_1darthvader-d6peuj1“Return of the Jedi,” the third film of the original “Star Wars” saga was release in theaters on May 25, 1983. It was probably one of the most anticipated movies in film history. It was the concluding chapter in the story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia (or so we thought at the time). And it definitely had a lot of threads to tie up from its previous chapter.

Listen – Doctor Who Extra: Series 1 Episode 4

Doctor Who Extra Title Card“Doctor Who’s” 4th episode this year I feel was a step up from the previous three episodes, albeit a little out there and weird in a slightly confusing way.  Maybe I’m just still getting used to the new tone of the show.
