New Promo Videos for “Arrow” Season 3 and “The Flash”

Arrow Flash PicA trailer for “Arrow” season 3 has just been released.  I will admit to having just recently binge-watched the first two seasons of the show.  Though I found myself having real problems with portions of it (mostly the poor dialogue) I did really enjoy it nonetheless.  It’s a good-looking show and really kept my attention throughout.  I’d almost consider it a guilty pleasure, but I don’t have any guilt over watching it.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 Theatrical Trailer Plus Screenshots

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 Pic 43Here is the just released theatrical trailer for “Hot Tub Time Machine 2.”  I really enjoyed the first one a lot and I am hoping that this one can deliver as well.  For whatever reason, John Cusack didn’t return for the sequel so subbing for him is Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation).  I think it’s a good choice.  The returning stars are Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Rob Corddry, and Chevy Chase.  This time we have them traveling to the future instead of the past.  Looks like fun.

New Photo of Ben Affleck as Batman (with Butt-Chin)

This photo just popped up today.  It’s a new headshot of Ben Affleck as Batman from the upcoming feature film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Ben Affleck as Batman

Some people have been commenting on his butt-chin.  So that got me to thinking… what other famous person do I know that has a butt-chin?

Marvel Changes Characters! DC To Follow? A Justice League Overhaul!

Captain America Female ThroA female Thor? The Falcon as Captain America? Change is on the horizons, folks! And the people over at Marvel are leading the way.

Apparently a woman from Thor’s past picks up the mantle (and the hammer) while Steve Rogers’ friend, Sam Wilson (aka The Falcon), dons the Cap outfit and adds the indestructible shield to his aerial abilities.

Guardians of the Galaxy Extended Movie Clip

Below is an extended clip from Marvel’s upcoming film “Guardians of the Galaxy” opening August 1, 2014.  I’m convinced it will be the biggest film of the summer and will take Chris Pratt from ‘somewhat’ celebrity’ to full blown ‘A-lister.’  I will not be wrong.

Syfy’s “12 Monkeys” Official TV Trailer

Syfy release a full trailer for it’s upcoming TV series “12 Monkeys” based on the 1995 Terry Gilliam film which starred Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt.  I really enjoyed the Gilliam film so I’ll definitely give this a try (even though Gilliam isn’t attached).  It premieres in January 2015.

Disney’s Big Hero 6 Official Theatrical Trailer

Disney’s Big Hero 6 looks like it might be a lot of fun.  It opens Nov. 7, 2014 in 3D.

Per Disney’s Site:

With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”).
