George Clooney Marries! And the Interview that Bit Him in the Ass

Addio, George Clooney’s bachelorhood, and congrats for diving back into the marriage bowl. Clooney married British attorney Amal Alamuddin on Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Venice, Italy. And although he was married once before many years back to actress Talia Balsam, he had sworn to never marry again (like so many others swear to never do – and then do it anyway).

R.I.P. Stern Show’s ‘Eric the Actor’

I’ve been listening to Howard Stern since 1997. Probably one of the only reasons I have Sirius Radio is so I can occasionally tune him in. Though I don’t consider myself a super fan, I have found myself greatly entertained by him over the years. But this article isn’t about Howard Stern. It’s about one of the members of his Wack Pack (essentially a group of misfits that have become recurring guests on his show over the years).

“The Dude” Throws Out The First Pitch At Dodgers Game

Jeff Bridges channeled his inner “Dude” as he threw out (actually bowled it) the first pitch at Friday’s Dodgers Game (Aug.1 , 2014). He then proceeded to give it another go and pitched it the second time around.

Paul George ‘Breaks A Leg’ (Video)

So this happened… (WARNING… It’s not pretty)

‘Break a leg’ is not a good luck wish that Paul George will care to hear anytime in the near (or far-off) future. The Indiana Pacers all-star had a very unfortunate accident this Friday night (Aug.1, 2014) while blocking a lay-up in the fourth quarter of a USA Basketball exhibition. The lower part of his right leg snapped as he collided with the basketball stanchion (the support that holds up the backboard). Although it looked terribly serious, hopefully it’s an injury that will heal fully and allow him to continue playing.

Awesome Video! Cat Saves Young Boy From Vicious Dog

The following video is excellent! I’m both a dog and cat person, and as much as I love dogs, cats can be just as awesome. Though I have a feeling that any cats I ever owned would have just watched me get mauled as they batted around a rubber band.

News Flash!!! Execution Gone Wrong Goes Right

Death Penalty Chaos ensued when an execution in Oklahoma resulted in death. And that’s pretty much the gist of it.

An inmate by the name of Clayton Lockett (convicted of murder and rape) was sentenced to die by lethal injection yesterday. But something went wrong; the drug (midazolam) didn’t properly take effect and in the process one of his veins burst resulting in a heart attack. From the time Lockett was first inject it took another forty-three minutes for him to die.
