Entertainment Weekly has released some new photos from J.J. Abrams upcoming sci-fi/fantasy space sequel known as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Everyone’s new soon-to-be favorite villain Kylo Ren graces the cover of the magazine (its annual Fall Movie Preview).

So I watched the international Korean TV spot for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” the other day. Other than one new shot, it was pretty much the same ‘ol thing they’ve given us this past year. Not that it’s bad by any means, but it got me to thinking. I feel that ultimately these spots are lacking a bit of energy and gusto.

A new “Star Wars” TV spot has popped up for the upcoming December 18th sequel “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” It’s an international promo and although most of the footage we’ve seen before, there is one new scene that appears at the beginning of this Korean spot.

A self-described “twenty-year-old Indian kid” at the Krishna Shenoi Channel on YouTube posted quite a fun mashup of the recently released “Mad Mad: Fury Road” with “Star Wars.” It’s very well done and immensely entertaining.
Behind the scenes footage for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” made its way to Comic-Con this past weekend. In it, we got our first official look at Carrie Fisher in Leia garb. Also, we got another shot of Harrison Ford as Han Solo (see pics below). Plus we got glimpses of a few more favorites.

I guess it’s time to add another pic to the Hollywood Mugshot Wall of Shame. Only this mugshot is ripped right from the “Star Wars” universe.
Last Wednesday, Young Anakin Skywalker himself, Jake Lloyd, 26, was arrested in Charleston, South Carolina after leading Sheriff’s Deputies on a high speed pursuit that went for miles. Eventually Lloyd lost control of his car and crashed into some trees. He was charged with failing to stop, resisting arrest, reckless driving and driving without a license.

Some new photos have popped up from the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” flick. The first one has Han Solo (Harrison Ford) back in the pilot’s seat of the Millennium Falcon with new characters Finn and Rey in tow. The next one is of The General (Domhnall Gleeson) and Captain Phasma.

EA finally released five minutes of gameplay footage from their upcoming video game “Star Wars: Battlefront.” And I’ve got to tell you – it looks pretty awesome. I thought that “Batman: Arkham Knight” was the one big game I was most looking forward to this year. But this one comes a close second. And I should be done with “Batman” by the time this comes out on November 17th – a full month before “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens.

Back in 2008, there was a special edition DVD release for “Family Guy presents Blue Harvest,” Seth MacFarlane’s “Star Wars” parody. This special edition included several collectibles, including trading cards and a cool art booklet for that episode.
