FANTASTIC NEW SPIDER-MAN BOOK FROM TASCHEN

A fantastic new Spider-man book has just hit the market.  It comes from TASCHEN, a company that I have bought many wonderful books from.  They are known for marketing these HUGE OVERSIZED editions.  I love these things.  It’s just that I don’t have anywhere to put them any longer.  They don’t exactly fit on a bookshelf.  (They do market many normal-sized books as well.)

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” TV Spot – Joe-Made

So I’ve had some fun in the past coming up with Alternate Versions of “Star Wars” Trailers and TV Spots.

I’ve never been a fan of the advertising campaigns for the newer films.  They just never seemed too… “Star Wars-y”.  I’m a bit old school, I guess.  I like to see my trailers (and TV Spots) with the “Star Wars” music blaring, exploding action, fan favorites front and center.  These new spots just don’t do it for me.  They seem too passive. So I’ve tried to course correct it.

Bathtime with Hobbes

I can think of no better way to bridge the giant gap in posting than with this cat video.  My cat actually.  There was just something quite amusing and hypnotic watching her clean herself for minutes on end.  The music helps.

“Suicide Squad” B-Roll Footage and Movie Clips

Suicide Squad Poster PicDavid Ayer’s “Suicide Squad” doesn’t come out for another ten days, but already a ton of clips from the film have popped up online.

In addition to those scenes, a nine and a half minute B-Roll package has also found its way into the light.  I’ve always been a fan of these things as it gives us a peek into the nitty-gritty of the film making process.

The Unaired “Cheers” Episode You Probably Haven’t Seen (Video)

Cheers Cast Photo with TitleFollowing up on my previous post from the other day concerning the sitcom “Cheers,” here’s a couple of interesting nuggets you may not have known.

Back during the first season, the show produced a twelve minuted episode entitled “Uncle Sam Malone” for the U.S. treasury in order to sell U.S. savings bonds.  It never aired on television or appeared on the 1st season DVD set.  It was only ever played at savings bonds drives.  But you can now view the episode below.
