The first official trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man premiered during Marvel’s “Agent Carter” debut last night (which I happened to enjoy very much and hope it goes beyond its limited series release.) The trailer was okay – didn’t knock me out, but didn’t turn me away either. But it is just a teaser. Since I love everything Marvel, I’m sure I’ll end up seeing it.

Last night, “The Hobbit’s” Martin Freeman hosted Saturday Night Live. There were definitely some funny moments during the show (which has improved as of late), but the best segment out of the bunch was the filmed spoof “The Office: Middle Earth” combining both his “Office” and “Hobbit” persona. And I gotta say, they pretty much nailed it. It also made me realize how much I miss the British “Office.” I may have to go back and rewatch it now.
By this point, everyone is aware of the Sony email hack that exposed the fun little email exchanges between Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal and Producer Scott Rudin. It probably wasn’t so much fun when Angelie Jolie read that within those exchanges, she was called “a minimally talented spoiled brat.”

J.J. Abrams and Company released the identities of the characters highlighted in the recently released “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” teaser trailer. And they did it in a pretty cool way. They revealed them on mocked-up Topps trading cards from the 70’s. (Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly)

I really enjoyed the first “Hot Tub Time Machine.” It was a fun time traveling throw back to those teen 80’s movies that everyone loves so much. And it had John Cusack. This new one does not. But it does have Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs so count me back in for the sequel. Returning are Rob Corddry, Clark Duke, and Craig Robinson, and Chevy Chase. Also returning are writer Josh Heald and director Steve Pink.
So here I am posting another version of the “Saturday Night Live ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’” parody teaser trailer. Only this time it’s because I noticed that on Saturday Night, they aired an unfinished version of the trailer (at least on the West Coast). Several of the visual and sound effects were incomplete. But the parody trailer they posted online was the completed and finished version. So obviously at the time of airing, somebody at Studio 8H goofed.
