A company called Replica Props (ReplicaProps.com) has just released its brand-new Omni Prop Replica Time Travel Device, based on the iconic gadget from the beloved 1982 NBC sci-fi adventure series ...Voyagers!.

Voyagers! was a science-fiction adventure series about a time traveler named Phineas Bogg, and a young boy named Jeffrey Jones, who journeyed through history correcting events that had gone off course. It aired on NBC from October 1982 to July 1983 and lasted one season consisting of 20 episodes.

The centerpiece of Voyagers! was the Omni, a pocket-watch-like device that enabled its users to travel through time. When the Omni flashed red, it signaled that something in that historical period was wrong and needed to be corrected; when it displayed a solid green light, it meant history was back on track and events were unfolding as they should.

Today, I'm unboxing one of the first units from the current production run of what is arguably the most screen-accurate Voyagers! Omni prop replica ever produced. While several Omni replicas have been released over the years—many in very small quantities—none have matched the level of detail, craftsmanship, and accuracy found in this version.
