Star Wars Force Awakens Millennium Falcon Special Edition Trading CardJ.J. Abrams and Company released the identities of the characters highlighted in the recently released “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” teaser trailer.  And they did it in a pretty cool way.  They revealed them on mocked-up Topps trading cards from the 70’s. SNL’s “Star Wars” Teaser Trailer Mistake! Somebody Goofed!

SNL Star Wars Trailer Parody MistakeSo here I am posting another version of the “Saturday Night Live ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’” parody teaser trailer.  Only this time it’s because I noticed that on Saturday Night, they aired an unfinished version of the trailer (at least on the West Coast).  Several of the visual and sound effects were incomplete. But the parody trailer they posted online was the completed and finished version. So obviously at the time of airing, somebody at Studio 8H goofed.

SNL “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Parody Trailer Plus Screenshots

SNL Star Wars ParodyWell you knew they were probably going to do it.  “Saturday Night Live” did their own version of the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” teaser trailer last night.  James Franco was the host.  And for what it’s worth, they at least parodied the original cast in the trailer.  But as everyone knows by now, we didn’t get a shot of either Luke, Han, or Leia in the actual teaser.  But patience young Jedi’s.  I’m sure it’s on its way soon.  And I’m hoping it won’t look like this.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Special Edition Trailer Plus Screenshots

Star Wars Force Awakens Special Edition Title CardWell you knew someone had to do it.  Michael Shanks (not the one from “Stargate”) at the timtimfed YouTube Channel made a special edition “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer along the lines of all of the George Lucas Special Edition Movies he loved to do so much.  My hat’s off to him.  He did a great job.

Is Benedict Cumberbatch’s Khan in “Star Trek 3?”

Cumberbatch KhanBenedict Cumberbatch was recently on “The Graham Norton Show.”  Aside from doing a couple spot on voice impressions and talking about his fear of the word “Penguins,” he was asked if he was in the new “Star Trek” film.  You’ll have to watch the video below for his answer.  Don’t fear, it’s near the beginning.  But the whole thing is worth a view.  He also answers if he has a part in the new “Star Wars” film.

“Star Wars Episode VII” Production Art – Lots of Images

A bunch of Production Art from “Star Wars Episode VII” has popped up online.  I’m actually pretty impressed by the images.  Some of these may end up in the movie, others may just be concept pieces.  Either way, we’ll find out on December 18, 2015.  Needless to say, possible Spoilers lay ahead.

“Saturday Night Live” Marvel Parody Starring Chris Pratt (Video)

Marvel's Star Wars Starring Chris PrattChris Pratt served as host on Saturday Night Live’s 40th season opener last night (Sep. 27, 2014). As always, the show was pretty painful to watch. In terms of cutting edge comedy, SNL is far behind the times and stuck in some kind of vanilla factory. It’s too safe and catered. The show needs a shake up from top to bottom, and then, and only then do I believe it could turn into something magnificently hilarious. It needs to lead the way once again. And, yes, of course they hit gold from time to time. If they didn’t, the show wouldn’t still be on the air. But let’s face it, the bad does outweigh the good.

Mastering the Force with the “Return of the Jedi” 1983 Press Kit

star_wars_episode_vi___return_of_the_jedi_by_1darthvader-d6peuj1“Return of the Jedi,” the third film of the original “Star Wars” saga was release in theaters on May 25, 1983. It was probably one of the most anticipated movies in film history. It was the concluding chapter in the story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia (or so we thought at the time). And it definitely had a lot of threads to tie up from its previous chapter.
