On April 18, 1938, Superman was introduced to the world in Action Comics #1. On the cover was an image of Superman lifting a car over his head. From that point forward, writer Jerry Siegel’s and artist Joe Shuster’s creation of Superman has become a world-wide phenomenon.

I have to admit that I forgot about this little known film called “Hollywoodland” where the soon-to-be Batman once played the role of Superman. Okay, to be more accurate, he actually played the role of George Reeves who played Superman. The film was about a private investigator looking into the supposed suicide of George Reeves who many believed to have been murdered.
