Well, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has come and… well, stayed. And judging by that box office, it will be around for some time. Love it or hate it, everything is going to be “Star Wars” for quite some time to come. I certainly hope George Lucas got some kind of backend deal and not just a $4 billion straight buy out, because it looks like just one movie is going to make most of that back for Disney, including merchandising, home video, etc… Then again, I doubt he’s complaining about $4 billion.

Happy “Back to the Future” Day!!! Step Inside For Some Goodies!

Back to the Future DayAs every single geek on the globe knows, it’s “Back to the Future” Day today!  In “Back to the Future Part II” Doc, Marty, and Jennifer arrive in the future on October 21, 2015 at 4:29pm.  Since they came from 1985, that’s a full thirty years ahead for them.  And for the rest of us, well, it’s our present.  And we had to get here the slow way.  Boy, I felt every day of that!

Some Amazing “Star Wars” Quadcopters

Star Destroyer QuadcopterA couple of true “Star Wars” fans have taken the Quadcopter concept to an entirely different level.  Thanks to Olivier C and Adam Woodworth, we now have a working version of the Millennium Falcon, a TIE Interceptor, Boba Fett’s Slave 1, a Star Destroyer, a snow speeder, and a speeder bike.

A Real Millennium Falcon (Drone)

Millennium Falcon Quadcopter Drove NightA very clever “Star Wars” fan has turned his Quadcopter Drone into a a ship that  made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.  And we all know that ship is the Millennium Falcon.  One of these days I would love to get a Quadcopter, but after seeing this, I don’t think any regular Quadcopter would do now.
