“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” TV Spot – Joe-Made
So I’ve had some fun in the past coming up with Alternate Versions of “Star Wars” Trailers and TV Spots.
I’ve never been a fan of the advertising campaigns for the newer films. They just never seemed too… “Star Wars-y”. I’m a bit old school, I guess. I like to see my trailers (and TV Spots) with the “Star Wars” music blaring, exploding action, fan favorites front and center. These new spots just don’t do it for me. They seem too passive. So I’ve tried to course correct it.
Ever since I was a kid I was always fascinated by movie trailers. I loved how they were a sneak peek into a much bigger world. And when a trailer is put together right, it really gets that movie excitement flaring. Unfortunately, sometimes they get it wrong and it can make a movie look laughably bad. Or just blah.

A number of television spots highlighting individual characters from the upcoming David Ayer film “Suicide Squad” have popped up. This includes one for Jared Leto’s The Joker as well.
