Doctor Who Season 8 Premiere Episode “Deep Breath” Review (Very Minor Spoilers)

(Very Minor Spoilers – so turn away now if you absolutely want to know nothing at all).

So yes, I viewed that preliminary copy that leaked online of the Season 8 premiere of “Doctor Who” which officially airs next month on August 23rd. It had unfinished effects, a temp music track, and was in B&W. It was not meant to be viewed by the general public.

So this might happen.

It’s said that Mark Wahlberg is in talks for the movie version of this 70’s television show update of “The Six Million Dollar Man.” Peter Berg might direct.

Here is a neat behind the scenes Visual Effects video reel for “Game of Thrones” Season 4. The effects on this show are incredible and rival any feature film being made today. I’m always amazed by the technology and kudos to the artists who make these things come to life.

Here is yet another new “Guardians of the Galaxy” Trailer which also shows a bit of an extended scene. It’s one of the few movies that I’m actually looking forward to seeing this summer. My guess is that it’s going to be one of this summer’s bigger hits.

What can I say about Joan Rivers? She certainly knows how to remain in the public eye. I’ll give her this… she doesn’t give up. Here is a woman who says anything she feels like saying regardless of the consequences and makes no apologies for it. You have to kind of respect that in this sickening PC environment we’ve created for ourselves. Every week another public figure is apologizing for something stupid they’ve said that managed to insult one group or another. Right or wrong, no one ever just stands their ground. That is, except for Joan Rivers! She certainly goes for it. Love her or hate her, she’s still sticking around.

Here is the new Doctor Who Season 8 Teaser Trailer which has just been released. From the sounds of it, it seems as though Davros (creator of the Daleks) may be back. That guy just never dies!
