In the Forest of the Night – Doctor Who Extra: Series 1 Episode 10

Doctor Who Extra Title Card So we are now up to Episode 10 for this current season of “Doctor Who.” The episode “In the Forest of the Night” finds the Doctor, Clara, Danny, and a whole bunch of annoying kids trying to solve the mystery as to why a new forest has grown all around London. Actually, it’s not just London, but we find that the entire Earth has been engulfed in trees. To make matters worse, a Solar Flare is on it’s way to Earth which threatens to destroy the planet.

Is Benedict Cumberbatch’s Khan in “Star Trek 3?”

Benedict Cumberbatch was recently on “The Graham Norton Show.” Aside from doing a couple spot on voice impressions and talking about his fear of the word “Penguins,” he was asked if he was in the new “Star Trek” film. You’ll have to watch the video below for his answer. Don’t fear, it’s near the beginning. But the whole thing is worth a view. He also answers if he has a part in the new “Star Wars” film.

Between Two Ferns with Guests Brad Pitt and Louis C.K.

Zack Galifianakis is at it again with another edition of his fake interview show “Between Two Ferns.” The show mostly consists of him doing his best to piss off his guests (which can be really hilarious). In this edition, he interviews Brad Pitt (or Bradley Pitts or Bart Pit) with a special appearance by Louis C.K..

We have a fantastic mystery, a compelling villain(s) or monster(s), a situation the Doctor has never seen before, and a storyline that someone can actually follow with an ending that doesn’t make you go “huh?”

“Saturday Night Live” Marvel Parody Starring Chris Pratt (Video)

Chris Pratt served as host on Saturday Night Live’s 40^th season opener last night (Sep. 27, 2014). As always, the show was pretty painful to watch. In terms of cutting edge comedy, SNL is far behind the times and stuck in some kind of vanilla factory. It’s too safe and catered. The show needs a shake up from top to bottom, and then, and only then do I believe it could turn into something magnificently hilarious. It needs to lead the way once again. And, yes, of course they hit gold from time to time. If they didn’t, the show wouldn’t still be on the air. But let’s face it, the bad does outweigh the good.

The Caretaker – Doctor Who Extra: Series 1 Episode 6

Doctor Who Extra Title Card We’re up to episode 6 now in this new season (the 8^th) of “Doctor Who.” In ‘The Caretaker’ the Doctor goes undercover at Clara’s school in order to catch an alien killer robot known as the Skovox Blitzer. Along the way, he finally meets Clara’s boyfriend, Danny Pink and befriends one of the students, Courtney Woods.

R.I.P. Stern Show’s ‘Eric the Actor’

I’ve been listening to Howard Stern since 1997. Probably one of the only reasons I have Sirius Radio is so I can occasionally tune him in. Though I don’t consider myself a super fan, I have found myself greatly entertained by him over the years. But this article isn’t about Howard Stern. It’s about one of the members of his Wack Pack (essentially a group of misfits that have become recurring guests on his show over the years).

The Star Wars/Batman v Superman Mashup Wars

Mashups are fun. There’s nothing more entertaining than taking two completely unrelated things and combining them into something new. And when two filmmakers who are in control of behemoth franchises get involved, well then Merry Christmas to us all.
