Last night, “The Hobbit’s” Martin Freeman hosted Saturday Night Live. There were definitely some funny moments during the show (which has improved as of late), but the best segment out of the bunch was the filmed spoof “The Office: Middle Earth” combining both his “Office” and “Hobbit” persona. And I gotta say, they pretty much nailed it. It also made me realize how much I miss the British “Office.” I may have to go back and rewatch it now.
So here I am posting another version of the “Saturday Night Live ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’” parody teaser trailer. Only this time it’s because I noticed that on Saturday Night, they aired an unfinished version of the trailer (at least on the West Coast). Several of the visual and sound effects were incomplete. But the parody trailer they posted online was the completed and finished version. So obviously at the time of airing, somebody at Studio 8H goofed.

The first trailer for the Terminator Rebootish movie has made its way to the Interwebs. It looks like it’s essentially a cross between T1 and T2. All of the main characters from the original have been recast except for the Ex-Governator Schwarzenegger (The Ex-GS).

I like Jon Stewart and I enjoy the “Daily Show.” I just wanted to state that before this next little bit.
On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 Jon Stewart visited “The Howard Stern Radio Show” on Sirius. The interview lasted a little over an hour. And as with all of Stern’s interviews, it was very interesting. But during the course of the interview, I noticed a little bit of a verbal quirk (or tic) that Jon Stewart would express when acknowledging Stern. At first, I thought nothing of it, but as the interview progressed, it became considerably apparent.

This years top grossing film, and certainly my favorite for the year, “Guardians of the Galaxy” comes out on DVD and Blu-ray on December 9th. Some deleted scenes from that release have popped up online. I’ve included them below, along with some ‘making of’ featurettes, behind the scenes footage, the Blu-ray trailer, and a fun little parody video.

“Simpsorama” was the title of the long awaited “Simpsons/Futurama” crossover. It aired last Sunday, November 9, 2014 (Season 26, Episode 6). In this episode, the Planet Express crew comes back in time to stop the Simpsons from inadvertently destroying the future.

Batman got himself a new partner. She’s definitely a step up from Robin, wouldn’t you say?
So apparently the deal is that Amy Jo Johnson, the original Pink Power Ranger, said that if she raised the funds for her feature film “The Space Between” on Indiegogo she would don her Power Rangers Outfit and sing in public. So the residents of Toronto got themselves a little treat. Here are a couple of snippets below.

If you care about “South Park” SPOILERS for an episode that has already aired, then turn away now. Yeah, I didn’t think so. Read on.
On this week’s current episode entitled “Grounded Vindaloop,” Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters are stuck in a virtual reality world, or so they think. Actually, they’re not sure. And we the viewer aren’t sure. Up until the very end when (SPOILERS) we come to find that it is only Stan that is stuck in the virtual world. And when he finally takes off his Oculus Rift goggles and reenters the real world, we get this.
Boy, was I pissed off when “The Sopranos” went off the air back in ’07. That ‘cut to black’ ending was such a cop out. I realize that people either loved it or hated it. Well I was one of the people that hated it. However you look at it, it really was a middle finger to the fans that followed the show for years. David Chase can justify it anyway he wants, but that’s just not the kind of closure that you give to people. I mean you don’t have to tie up every loose end, but you just can’t end the thing mid-scene and then tell the audience, “Hey morons, fill in the rest. I’m going home.”
