The New “Star Wars Holiday Special” (Video)

The Hypothetical Star Wars Holiday Special TitleIf you’re a “Star Wars” fan then you know of the original infamous “Star Wars Holiday Special.”

Someone back in the late seventies thought it was a good idea to mix “Star Wars” with a variety show format.  And it aired only one time on CBS on Friday, November 17, 1978 to horrible reviews.  Even worse, it preempted “Wonder Woman” and the “Incredible Hulk.”  Noooooooooo!  (That’s what Vader said.)

“Home Alone’s” Kevin McCallister 25 Years Later (Video)

Home Alone Grown-up Pic“Home Alone” was a break-out comedy back in 1990 about an eight year-old boy accidentally left ‘home alone’ while his family flew to Paris for Christmas vacation.

As his mother struggled to get back home to her abandoned son, young Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin), thinking his families disappearance was his fault, had to learn to fend for himself.  Not only did he have to learn to do the shopping, cooking, and laundry, but he had to overcome his fear of the basement furnace, avoid the scary old man next door, and fight off two psychotic robbers from breaking into this home.

King Shark Joins “The Flash” – ‘We’re Going To Need A Bigger Speedster’

The Flash Logo Slider ImageThe Villain ‘King Shark’ made his way to the CW’s “The Flash” this past Tuesday in the episode entitled “The Fury of Firestorm.”

The graphics were actually quite good for a small screen show.  So much so, that the folks over at “The Flash” said that this scene was about all they could afford to do.  So don’t get your hopes up on seeing a lot more of this fishy villain.  Though I would be quite disappointed if he didn’t pop up again at some point in the series run.

And that being said, I think it goes without saying…
