Know It All Joe’s Monday Meme! It’s Terminator Time! With a Touch of Krueger!

By now everyone probably knows that Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking over for Donald Trump in next year’s “Celebrity Apprentice” cycle.

I do think it’s a bizarre career choice for Schwarzenegger, but after his weak box office performances since returning to the big screen, he might think that starring on this show will add a little good will to his name again and knock his popularity up a few notches. The show certainly didn’t hurt Donald Trump.

Star Wars’ Anakin Skywalker Arrested? It’s Meme Time!

I guess it’s time to add another pic to the Hollywood Mugshot Wall of Shame. Only this mugshot is ripped right from the “Star Wars” universe.

Last Wednesday, Young Anakin Skywalker himself, Jake Lloyd, 26, was arrested in Charleston, South Carolina after leading Sheriff’s Deputies on a high speed pursuit that went for miles. Eventually Lloyd lost control of his car and crashed into some trees. He was charged with failing to stop, resisting arrest, reckless driving and driving without a license.

Know It All Joe’s Observation of the Day (Orange is the New Black)

So “Orange is the New Black” has just landed on Netflix for a third season. And I think that most people probably know by now that the character of Piper Chapman is based on the real life persona of Piper Kerman. And the character of Alex Vause is based on a woman by the name of Cleary Wolters.

R.I.P. Christopher Lee

Actor Christopher Lee passed away on Sunday, June 7th in Chelsea, London, England, at the age of 93 due to heart failure. His career spanned the course of almost 70 years, starring in films from “The Curse of Frankenstein” all the way to the “Star Wars” prequels and “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies. His last film, “The 11th” isn’t scheduled for release until next year.

So I watch this show “Gotham” on Fox. You know, the show about Batman, but without Batman. Well, he’s there, but he’s a kid still. He’s at least fifteen to twenty years away from donning the cowl. In truth, the show is about Gotham City before The Batman arrives. So instead we follow the exploits of Detective James Gordon before he becomes Commissioner. And to tell you the truth, I really like the show. It sucked me in. But I’m getting off track as to what this post is about.

“Electra Woman and Dyna Girl” Returns!

“Electra Woman and Dyna Girl” was a female superhero program that was part of the Krofft Supershow back in the ‘70’s. It starred Diedra Hall as Electra Woman and Judy Strangis as her faithful sidekick Dyna Girl. When not fighting crime, they were known as Lori and Judy, magazine reporters. Essentially, the show was a take on the ‘60’s TV version of “Batman.”

Make A Movie with Van Damme!

Have you ever wanted to make a movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme? I didn’t think so, but now you can! This green screen footage was shot a year ago for a contest on Funny or Die. Even though that contest ended quite some time ago, I thought it would be interesting to present it here just in case you never saw it before. I’m putting up a little 9 second demo of my own just to show some of the interesting backgrounds you can throw into it. When I have more time, I am definitely going to play around with it. It would be fun if more actors did this for the amateur filmmaking community.
