First Full Clip from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (Plus SNL Star Wars Skit)

During last night’s “American Music Awards” the first full clip from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was shown.  Though short, it does give us a slice of action involving the characters of Rey and Finn, with the droid BB-8 trailing behind.

King Shark Joins “The Flash” – ‘We’re Going To Need A Bigger Speedster’

The Flash Logo Slider ImageThe Villain ‘King Shark’ made his way to the CW’s “The Flash” this past Tuesday in the episode entitled “The Fury of Firestorm.”  

The graphics were actually quite good for a small screen show.  So much so, that the folks over at “The Flash” said that this scene was about all they could afford to do.  So don’t get your hopes up on seeing a lot more of this fishy villain.  Though I would be quite disappointed if he didn’t pop up again at some point in the series run.

Happy “Back to the Future” Day!!! Step Inside For Some Goodies!

Back to the Future DayAs every single geek on the globe knows, it’s “Back to the Future” Day today!  In “Back to the Future Part II” Doc, Marty, and Jennifer arrive in the future on October 21, 2015 at 4:29pm.  Since they came from 1985, that’s a full thirty years ahead for them.  And for the rest of us, well, it’s our present.  And we had to get here the slow way.  Boy, I felt every day of that!

Doc and Marty Return in New “Back to the Future” Animation and Commercial

Back to the Future AnimationSo what would it actually be like if Doc and Marty came to this 2015 instead of the movie (Back to the Future Part II) 2015?  Well, I’m guessing they would be greatly disappointed.  It’s just not as much fun as their future.  I mean, technology did advance, but just not to those levels.  And the world is not exactly in great shape right now.  If only our biggest problem was Biff.

Back to the Future TitleBack around the time that “Back to the Future II” came out you were able to join the “Back to the Future” fan club.  What you received for your $9.95 was a full year of the “Back to the Future” magazine (4 quarterly issues), a patch, some stickers, a pencil, a mini-poster, an 8×10 photo, a membership card, and a kick in the ass!  (Okay, I made the kick in the ass one up.  It was other fan clubs that usually offered that one).
