Christopher LeeActor Christopher Lee passed away on Sunday, June 7th in Chelsea, London, England, at the age of 93 due to heart failure.  His career spanned the course of almost 70 years, starring in films from “The Curse of Frankenstein” all the way to the “Star Wars” prequels and “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies.  His last film, “The 11th” isn’t scheduled for release until next year.

The Story Behind Attending a Live Taping of “The Big Bang Theory”

The Big Bang Theory Title CardHave you ever wondered what it would be like to watch your favorite TV sitcom live in person? Just think, your favorite actors in their familiar settings only just a few feet away from you? You could just literally reach out and touch them (though I would strongly suggest you don’t do that). Well, if you live in or visit Los Angeles, there is a good chance you could see a taping of your favorite show.

Pee-wee and Son? Know It All Joe’s Thought of the Day

Pee-wee HermanSo I watch this show “Gotham” on Fox.  You know, the show about Batman, but without Batman.  Well, he’s there, but he’s a kid still.  He’s at least fifteen to twenty years away from donning the cowl.  In truth, the show is about Gotham City before The Batman arrives.  So instead we follow the exploits of Detective James Gordon before he becomes Commissioner.  And to tell you the truth, I really like the show.  It sucked me in.  But I’m getting off track as to what this post is about.

Know It All Joe’s “Weirdo of the Week” (Red Skull)

Red Skull Weirdo of the WeekHave you ever wanted to look like the Red Skull, the archvillain from “Captain America?”  I didn’t think so.  I don’t think the Red Skull wanted to look like the Red Skull.   But this superfan certainly did.  Thirty-seven year old Henry Damon of Caracas, Venezuela, (who now officially goes by the name “Red Skull”) took artistic expression to a whole ‘nother level.  And probably one that no one on the planet Earth should go to.

Henry Damon Red Skull 3This isn’t makeup that this fan applied.  He had a medical school dropout by the name of Emilio Gonzales (who does this sort of thing for a living) make modifications to his face.  Damon (Red Skull) had part of his nose removed, facial implants, well, implanted, and lots and lots of tattoos applied to his face.  This includes tattooing his eyeballs as well.  (Ouch!  I mean really… Ouch!)  All so he could look like the Red Skull.

Know It All Joe’s “Weirdo of the Week” (Video) NSFW

Randy Quaid Weirdo of the WeekWelcome to a new segment called Know It All Joe’s ‘Weirdo of the Week.’ And for the very first one, the honor is bestowed to “Independence Day” and “Christmas Vacation” actor Randy Quaid.   This NSFW video pretty much speaks for itself. It truly is frightening to see the places the mind can go when it breaks. And the fact that there is two of them? Even more frightening.

SNL’s “Star Wars” Teaser Trailer Mistake! Somebody Goofed!

SNL Star Wars Trailer Parody MistakeSo here I am posting another version of the “Saturday Night Live ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’” parody teaser trailer.  Only this time it’s because I noticed that on Saturday Night, they aired an unfinished version of the trailer (at least on the West Coast).  Several of the visual and sound effects were incomplete. But the parody trailer they posted online was the completed and finished version. So obviously at the time of airing, somebody at Studio 8H goofed.

Jon Stewart of “The Daily Show” Bizarre Verbal Tic (Quirk)

stewart-thinkingI like Jon Stewart and I enjoy the “Daily Show.” I just wanted to state that before this next little bit.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 Jon Stewart visited “The Howard Stern Radio Show” on Sirius.  The interview lasted a little over an hour.  And as with all of Stern’s interviews, it was very interesting. But during the course of the interview, I noticed a little bit of a verbal quirk (or tic) that Jon Stewart would express when acknowledging Stern. At first, I thought nothing of it, but as the interview progressed, it became considerably apparent.
